Next Reflex Dance Collective is a new modern dance company in the DC Metro area. Founders Erika Schonemann and Roxann Morgan Rowley center the collective around collaboration and providing a venue for more artistic voices in the DC Metro dance community.

Our Mission

It is NRDC's mission to create dance collaboratively with artists of all disciplines and to support the creation of experimental dance work. We believe that the sharing of ideas facilitates creativity on many levels while also reaching a broader audience. As a unit, we are committed to creating new work which challenges ideas and broadens our perceptions, while also encouraging experimentation at the highest level. We are devoted to being a part of our dance community's growth by supporting dance artists through inclusion in specific performance and outreach programs. NRDC generates opportunities to reach into the community through performances, residencies, workshops, and lecture demonstrations geared towards all ages and experience levels. Each NRDC collaborator brings a new community of not only audience but also outreach to our collective.
